The Heritage Guitar Story

When Gibson abandoned its original plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1984 to move to a new highly automated facility in Nashville, Tennessee, a group of long-time employees who refused to relocate stayed behind. They bought the old Gibson factory and formed Heritage Guitars Inc. More than 25 years later, they still produce largely hand-built guitars of legendary design . Many purists refer to Heritage Guitars Inc. as "the old Gibson." Compare a hand-crafted Heritage guitar to a similar, more expensive mass-produced model and you will agree there really is no comparison at all.
