When you purchase a custom-built guitar or bass from 1st Gear Music, the one you view online is the one that shows up on your doorstep. So no wondering if you’ll be stuck with a dog. Also, we only display instruments currently in stock. You will not see any SOLD signs on our guitars and basses. And we do not display instruments on our site until they pass a thorough inspection for fit, finish and playability. Our multi-talented technician, Kerry Hill, checks and sets up each instrument when it first arrives. Throughout its stay at 1st Gear Music, each instrument is kept in pristine condition. And no guitar or bass is shipped without first undergoing a detailed quality inspection. We even provide you with the final inspection checklist to show all is in order.
